Thekabarnews.com—The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia continues its efforts to improve the services provided to pilgrims. As part of these efforts, it has allowed those carrying out the Hajj pilgrimage in 1447 AH (2026) to download their official digital Hajj certificates immediately via their Nusuk Card.
The Saudi government has connected the certificate to the Nusuk digital platform. Therefore, pilgrims can obtain and keep the document electronically. They do not need a separate administrative process.
The digital certificate serves as the official record of a pilgrim’s successful completion of the Hajj pilgrimage. It is available both before the pilgrim returns home and after their arrival. This is true as long as they still have access to their Nusuk account and card.
How to download a digital Hajj certificate? Pilgrims have a couple of simple and straightforward options for getting their certificates:
- Using your smartphone, scan the QR code on the Nusuk Card.
- Opens the services page. In the upper left corner of the screen, click on the language choice and select the English version.
- Click on View Certificate to navigate to the certificate page.
- Choose “Certificate Language” and select from several languages, including Arabic, English, French, Turkish, Urdu, Bahasa, Melayu, and Persian.
- Pilgrims can click on “Preview Certificate” to view the certificate. Alternatively, they can just screenshot the preview and save it as a picture.
- Download PDF for official use. Click here. The system automatically saves the PDF version to the user’s smartphone, allowing pilgrims to print or store it for future use.
The digital Hajj certificate is part of Saudi Arabia’s wider digital transformation plan. The initiative aims to enhance services for the millions of pilgrims coming to the Kingdom every year.
Recently, Saudi authorities have expanded the Nusuk platform to offer a range of services relevant to the pilgrimage. These include identification verification, access to holy sites, transportation, accommodation, permits, and official documents.
The new certificate system removes the need to apply manually, making the procedure faster, more convenient, and easier to access.
The certificate is also linked directly to each pilgrim’s Nusuk identification. Therefore, users can get the document whenever they need it, without any additional paperwork.
For Indonesian pilgrims and millions of Muslims throughout the world, the digital certificate is more than an administrative document.
It is an official record of the pilgrim having performed all the important rites of Hajj. These include the journey to Arafat, the nighttime stay at Muzdalifah, and the symbolic stoning ritual in Mina. These rites are together known as “Armuzna.”
The certificate is also a treasured memento for many pilgrims. It helps them remember one of the most important spiritual journeys of their lives.
The Nusuk ecosystem is helping Saudi Arabia grow digital services. Moreover, officials seek to make the pilgrimage journey more seamless, efficient, accessible, and secure for pilgrims globally.
The digital Hajj certificates are issued in keeping with the Kingdom’s plan to use technology to improve religious services. Furthermore, it aims to facilitate administrative procedures in the next Hajj seasons.
