Thekabarnews.com—Tourists planning a trip to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) can now get a single-entry tourist visa in 48 hours. This provides faster access for eligible international travelers, government officials said.
The expedited processing is available for 30-day and 60-day single-entry tourist visas. This is in line with the UAE’s continued efforts to strengthen its position as one of the world’s top tourism and business destinations.
The time saving is expected to benefit leisure travelers, business visitors, and families. It offers more flexibility when planning their trips to Dubai and other emirates.
UAE visit visas are still available in different packages for various purposes and durations of travel.
Depending on the eligibility of the applicant and the purpose of the travel, the available options are two-day and four-day transit visas. Additionally, there are 30-day and 60-day single-entry tourist visas, and 90-day multiple-entry visas.
Most nationalities can apply for the standard single-entry tourist visas. The issuing authority may grant one or more extensions if applicants meet the necessary requirements, officials said.
The flexible visa system is meant to cater to short-term visitors. It also supports those seeking to stay in the country for a longer time.
Those applying for a 30-day single-entry tourist visa will pay around Dh230. This includes the country’s 5% value-added tax (VAT) and mandatory government fees.
However, applicants should note that the quoted charges do not include additional service or transaction charges. These may be levied by authorized visa processing centers.
Meanwhile, the 60-day single-entry tourist visa costs about Dh340, giving travelers a longer stay for a small increase in fees.
Officials also confirmed that applicants need not put up a security deposit while applying for either visa category.
Applicants who submit their request while inside the UAE will have to pay an additional processing fee of Dh500, authorities said.
The surcharge is applicable when travelers want to change or adjust their immigration status without leaving the country.
Visitors should check visa conditions carefully before traveling to avoid unexpected costs and ensure compliance with immigration rules.
The fast-tracked visa processing is part of the UAE’s broader push to increase tourism, international business, and global connectivity.
Dubai continues to be one of the busiest travel hubs in the Middle East. It welcomes millions of international visitors each year for leisure, shopping, business, and cultural events.
Authorities expect shorter visa processing times and multiple entry options to simplify travel planning and make the UAE a more attractive destination for international visitors.
A country’s competitiveness in the global tourism market increasingly depends on streamlined visa procedures.
As international travel continues to recover, the UAE expects its latest visa policy will make travel more convenient for international visitors. Additionally, it will support the country’s long-term tourism and economic growth goals.
Travelers should confirm the latest visa requirements before making travel plans. They can do so by checking with the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates or an authorized UAE visa service provider.
