Thekabarnews.com—President Donald Trump said the ongoing war between the United States, Israel, and Iran has progressed faster than expected.
In an interview with CBS News, Trump described the military campaign as significantly advanced compared to initial projections.
“I think the war is essentially complete. They have no navy, no communications; they’ve got no air force,” Trump said.
Trump further stated that the conflict has significantly weakened Iran’s missile and drone capabilities. The president said ongoing military operations have destroyed or disabled many Iranian weapons systems.
President Donald Trump said weeks of combat have left Iran with limited military capabilities.
“Our forces are dispersing their missiles and destroying their drones everywhere, including their manufacturing facilities,” Trump declared.
The president also claimed that Iran no longer has the military capacity to mount significant resistance.
“If you look, they have nothing left. There’s nothing left in a military sense,” he added.
The comments came amid criticism from Democratic lawmakers who have questioned whether the conflict with Iran was necessary.
Trump rejected those criticisms and argued that US intelligence indicated an imminent threat from Iran against American interests and regional allies.
“Within a week, they were going to attack us—100%,” Trump said during the interview.
He also claimed that Iran planned to launch attacks across the Middle East and against Israel.
“They were going to attack all of the Middle East and Israel,” Trump added.
President Trump further warned that if Iran had possessed a nuclear weapon, it could have used it against Israel.
According to Trump, Iran had accumulated a large number of missiles and launch systems before the conflict began.
However, he said US and Israeli military operations have destroyed the majority of those weapons.
President Trump estimated that the elimination of around 80 percent of Iran’s missile stockpile was already complete.
“They have very few launchers left. The rest are going very quickly,” he said.
Despite Trump’s assessment of the conflict’s progress, tensions remain high across the Middle East.
Iran has continued launching retaliatory missile and drone attacks on Israeli cities and US military bases across the region.
International observers continue to monitor the situation closely and warn that further escalation could destabilize regional alliances and disrupt global oil markets.
Because diplomatic talks remain uncertain, the ongoing conflict between the US, Israel, and Iran continues to influence regional security across the Middle East.
