Jakarta, Thekabarnews.com—The Golkar Party has strongly condemned that the US and Israel worked together to kill Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, in a military attack.
Golkar deputy chairman Idrus Marham said that the attack was a “humanitarian disaster” that broke international law and the state’s right to run its affairs.
Idrus said on March 2 that the death of a leader of a free country is terrible news for everyone.
“If these kinds of things keep happening, the world could go back to a time when talking and making deals were less important than missile force,” Idrus said.
He also said that the attack happened during Ramadan, which is a very important month for Muslims. In addition, Idrus said that the operation has hurt Muslim communities all over the world very deeply. This is because Ramadan is a time for prayer, self-control, and peace.
Reports from all over the world say that the strike hit a lot of Tehran. Rumors suggest that people suffered injuries. Yet the evidence supporting these claims is scant.
Idrus said that military actions that put civilians in danger are bad for society, no matter what political differences there are.
“No matter what the reason, actions that put civilians in danger do not meet international standards or humanitarian values,” he added.
Idrus also told the Indonesian government to be strong in groups like the United Nations and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).
Golkar told Indonesia to strongly support the law of the land, respect for sovereignty, and peaceful ways to settle differences.
Right now, things are going very badly in the Middle East. At the same time, some people say that the fighting between the US, Iran, and Israel is getting worse.
People from all over the world have reacted to what happened in different ways. Many governments are calling for peace and more work on diplomacy.
Indonesian politicians are thinking about how to handle changes diplomatically. They are also keeping their promise to peace and working with other countries to make the world a better place.
