Thekabarnews.com—On Saturday, March 28, 2026, thousands of people in the US protested against President Donald Trump. They said he was a tyrant and had severe controls regarding who could come into the country. Moreover, he was still at war with Iran.
The Associated Press reported that the protests were part of the “No Kings” movement. This was a planned wave of protests that happened in the US and a few European countries.
People who protested wanted the conflict in Iran to stop. They stated that Trump’s leadership has made the world more hostile. The organizers reported that over five million people protested against “No Kings” in June. Then seven million did so in October.
They believed that as many as nine million people might come up for the most recent protests. However, they still do not know how many people actually did. Thousands of people came together at the State Capitol grounds in St. Paul, Minnesota, for one of the greatest events.
During the event, Bruce Springsteen performed. The crowd watched a pre-recorded video message from Robert De Niro. De Niro remarked in the video that he was worried about politics right now. However, the massive protests gave him hope.
Ezra Levin, one of the co-executive directors of Indivisible, said that the protests happened in more than a dozen other nations. They did not only occur in the US, and thousands of Italian people marched through Rome to show their anger with Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni.
The government just lost a vote on changing the way the courts work. This has sparked widespread discontent among citizens who feel that these changes threaten judicial independence.
Protesting people also put up posters. The posters claimed they did not want the US and Israel to work together in Iran. People in London, on the other side, brandished posters that stated things like “Fight racism” and “Stop the far right.”
In Bastille Square in Paris, hundreds of individuals, many of them American expats, came together with trade unions. Others joined as well, and they fight for human rights.
“I protest all of Trump’s unlawful, immoral, irresponsible, and incompetent wars,” Ada Shen, one of the people who planned the event, said.
People care more about who runs politics, what the government does abroad, and how well the world gets along. The protests that are happening all around the world indicate the trend.
Individuals claim that these movements illustrate that more and more individuals are getting active in molding political discourse at home and around the world. This phenomenon happens as tensions increase.
