Caught While Stealing, Murder Suspect in PKS Politician’s Child Case Finally Arrested

Cilegon, Thekabarnews.com – The Cilegon Police have detained Maman Suherman, the murder suspect in a PKS politician’s child case. The murder suspect in the PKS politician’s child case has finally been apprehended. They think he killed the child of a PKS politician in Cilegon. They caught him breaking into the home of a former Cilegon City Council member.

People called the police because they saw something strange at the home of Roisudin Sayuri, a former DPRD member. A domestic helper reportedly discovered the suspect attempting to steal items from the house.

Cilegon Police Chief AKP Firman Al Hamid said that cops got a call from people in the area. They heard the maid’s screams and needed help right away.

At first, people who lived near the crime scene told us that someone had broken into Mr. Roisudin’s house. The housemaid caught him. She panicked, rushed inside, and sought assistance from her neighbors. “Then the people who lived there called us,” Firman remarked on Saturday, January 3, 2026, as reported by Detik.

Police officers from the Cilegon Police Station, assisted by Brimob personnel on standby, rushed to the scene and arrested the murder suspect in the PKS politician’s child case. The suspect had barricaded himself inside the residence by the time the cops got there.

“When our police got there, the suspect was still in the residence and had closed the door from the inside. We had to break down the door to keep him safe,” Firman said.

Police were able to arrest the suspect after a short standoff that occurred following their entry into the house. They put him in handcuffs and took him away in a Brimob car. The incident led to the conclusion of the intense search for the murder suspect in the PKS politician’s child case.

Soon after, officials from the Banten police criminal investigation unit (Resmob) and the Serang Police Resmob came to the area to help with the case.

“Not long after the police caught the culprit, officers from the Resmob units in both the province and the district arrived.”

Authorities are still investigating whether the suspect was involved in other crimes, including a murder case that previously shocked the public.
