Tehran, Thekabarnews.com—Iranian officials said that the bombings by the US and Israel killed several civilians. People in other countries are now more concerned about Iran. Especially, they worry about the bombings’ effects on people and the chance of regional conflict escalation.
Iran’s diplomatic mission in Indonesia said in a statement that more than 1,300 civilians, including children, have died since the attacks began on February 28, 2026.
Iranian officials said that the attacks happened during Ramadan, a holy month when people think about their lives and spend time with family and friends. As a result, people are even more upset now.
In addition to the deaths, officials in Tehran reported significant damage to civilian infrastructure across various regions of the country.
The government says that the attacks hurt or destroyed 9,669 civilian targets, including 7,943 homes. Officials reported that the attacks also damaged schools, hospitals, and facilities operated by humanitarian organizations such as the Red Crescent Society of Iran.
Observers warn that the destruction of these buildings could make it harder for people in affected communities to access medical care. Furthermore, it may be more difficult for them to find a place to stay and get other kinds of support.
Iranian officials also reported that attackers targeted the IRIS Dena at sea while the vessel was traveling to India on an official mission.
The Iranian government says that the incident killed 104 crew members on board the ship. International observers have not been able to confirm that the claim is true yet.
Iran strongly condemned the attacks, saying they broke international human rights legislation.
Officials said that the bombings damaged important infrastructure, such as desalination plants and planes that people utilize. Tehran has asked the world to look into and fix the damage done to civilian buildings.
Iranian officials said that following the strikes, the country would use Article 51 of the UN Charter to protect itself. The Iranian government said it will take action against what it called the US and Israel’s aggressive military actions.
International observers and humanitarian groups have raised concerns about the reported civilian casualties and infrastructure damage.
International organizations should look into the matter right away. They should also see if things like mediation or calls for a truce could help save it from getting worse.
As the conflict continues, more people are calling for assistance for those affected. This could include assisting affected civilians and ensuring their safety.
