Thekabarnews.com—Deepak Chopra has taught millions of people how to go beyond the physical world for decades. In the West, Deepak Chopra calls himself a “self-proclaimed consciousness explorer” and a “self-help spiritual mentor.”
He wrote 95 books in which he promised that meditation, higher consciousness, and connecting with the divine would help people become more spiritually aware.
He built a wellness business empire worth hundreds of millions of dollars by bringing together ancient Eastern wisdom and modern people who want to find more than just physical and material things in their lives. However, the Epstein file shocked many people. Chopra and Epstein have talked to each other.
There are at least two emails that are the main focus. In February 2017, Chopra asked Epstein to go to Israel for the first time. The email says, “Come to Israel with us. Relax and have fun with intriguing people. If you want, use a fake name. Bring your girls. It will be fun to have you.” Epstein got the invitation nine years after he was found guilty.
There was an offer inside to help Epstein travel under a false name. It was very clear what they wanted: “Bring your girls.” People are definitely outraged, sickened, or at least shocked by what these words say. Chopra sent this invitation even though she should have known what mistake led to Epstein’s conviction.
Two months later, in March 2017, Chopra sent Epstein an email that said, “God is a construct; cute girls are real.” These words are very shocking, especially for religious people. This is because they seem to mean that Chopra thinks God is just a mental construct. He may think it’s a way for people to explain their inability to cope with the uncontrollable.
The phrase “cute girls are real” got many people talking because it has to do with the crimes Epstein and his network committed. The Justice Department of the United States has made available over 3 million pages of documents from the Epstein criminal cases.
This two-line message is one of those pages. Chopra kept in touch with Epstein regularly from 2016 to 2019. They remained connected despite Epstein’s conviction in 2008 for offenses involving a minor.
These two emails are just two of many that show this relationship. The letters make it clear that they were more than just friends. CBS News reports that Epstein’s calendar shows he met with Chopra about ten times during that time.
The emails also show that Chopra asked Epstein for money advice, used him to meet celebrities and diplomats, and had “very exciting” late-night meetings with him. However, people are very doubtful that Chopra had anything to do with Epstein’s crimes.
They wonder why a spiritual mentor who promotes morality and spiritual awareness would be okay with Epstein’s crimes. This is especially true since Epstein had already been found guilty at that time.
Many Indonesians may find the situation surprising, yet they are familiar with stories of spiritual teachers who sell religion or spirituality without clear convictions of their own. Such teachers also promise enlightenment and tell strange stories to attract followers.
That is how it is: what we see is not always what we think it is. Rational thinking aims to be critical and weigh things so we don’t make up meanings for unclear or mysterious things.
People who say they are religious need to believe in mystical and spiritual things and in the existence of truly enlightened spiritual people. Such belief is especially important for them.
