A survey found 79.9 percent of people are pleased with President Prabowo

Jakarta, Thekabarnews.com—According to the most recent national survey by IndikatorPolitik Indonesia, 79.9 percent of people are pleased with President Prabowo Subianto. This is the most satisfied people have ever been. The number is higher than the early-term approval ratings of former presidents Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) and Joko Widodo (Jokowi).

“National Survey Findings: Public Perception of Presidential Performance and Trust in State Institutions” was a virtual release that shared the results on Sunday, February 8.

The founder and lead researcher of Indikator Politik Indonesia, Burhanuddin Muhtadi, said that most of the people who answered were pleased with President Prabowo’s leadership. 

“The survey found that 66.9% of people were quite satisfied, and 13% were very satisfied. This is a huge step forward in Indonesia’s political scene. That is a very high approval rating for a sitting president,” Burhanuddin said.

Deputy Speaker of the People’s Consultative Assembly (MPR) from the National Mandate Party (PAN), Eddy Soeparno, said that the survey results showed that President Prabowo’s policies have really helped the people.

“Even though global politics and the economy are uncertain, people have liked President Prabowo’s policies. Of course, there are still things that need to be fixed. However, this survey shows that the administration is on the right track,” Eddy said.

He also said that the survey gives useful information about what people want. Furthermore, Eddy says that the right ministries should think about these ideas. This will make sure that government programs keep getting better and better at helping people.

The survey shows that people trust the presidency more. However, it also shows how important it is to keep listening to what people want in the future.
