Kubu Raya, Thekabarnews.com—The Kubu Raya Regency Administration says that 17 people have made it through the first round of the Open Selection for High-Pratama Leadership Positions (JPTP) process. The candidates will now fight for five open strategic jobs in the regional administration.
The open positions are for the heads of the Fisheries Office, the Agriculture Office, the Education Office, the Investment and One-Stop Integrated Service Office (DPMPTSP), and the Public Works and Spatial Planning Office (PUPR). For Kubu Raya’s public services and growth, these groups are crucial.
Kubu Raya regent Sujiwo asserted that the selection process for leaders is fair and transparent. He said that the point of open recruitment is to find leaders who are honest, qualified, and want to help the public.
Sujiwo says that people who work for the government should always remember that their main job is to help the community. He said that people should not consider leadership roles to be rewards. Instead, they should see them as duties they have to do for the good of society.
“We need to think of ourselves as public servants,” Sujiwo said, Monday, February 23.
The regent also told everyone that the government of today works in a world where information is simple to find online. Furthermore, he asserted that social media and other websites now simplify the process of monitoring individuals. They help people see how government workers do their jobs and act.
Sujiwo said that unacceptable behavior can spread quickly online and make people less likely to believe in the government. Therefore, he told all candidates to be professional and ethical during and after the selection process.
The local government wants to make institutions stronger and make public services better. One part of that plan is the open selection process. The administration wants to hire good leaders based on their skills. As a result, these leaders can do a better job with development programs and other administrative tasks.
The candidates will go through interviews and skill tests after the administrative stage before being hired.
Regent Sujiwo is hopeful that the process of choosing new office heads will lead to people who can handle development problems. He also hopes these people will help Kubu Raya Regency grow in a way that lasts.
